The Wilton Hunt
This is the home page of the Wilton Foxhound Pack.
We are a small friendly hunt in rural Wiltshire. Working within the law, hunting days usually provide good sport for all. Although we have members of all ages, we particularly welcome children and younger people to the Hunt. Children under the age of 14 must however be accompanied by an adult. We provide for non-jumping riders by having a knowledgeable escort to indicate alternative routes.
A dedicated band of foot followers are a great asset to the Wilton. We have a large number that we are delighted to see out in 4*4's, cars, bicycles, and even on foot.

| The Wilton Hounds at Gallows Hill Painted in 1926 by Lionel Edwards This stunning painting has come to light thanks to the keen detective work of Christopher Egremont. He has kindly written about its provenance (below) and liaised with its owner Michael Allfrey. Mr Allfrey is allowing, us very generously, to make limited edition prints and cards from the picture to raise funds for the hunt. We are currently exploring costs and it would help greatly if we had an idea of demand. |

News
| Josh Cameron is our whip at kennels. Josh is 22years and comes from Norfolk where he was often out with the North Norfolk Harriers. He has graduated from Nottingham University with a BSc in Animal Sciences and while there he often assisted with the South Notts. Foxhounds and whipped in to Garry Williams. He has also hunted with the Quorn. Josh joined The Wilton at the end of June 2009 as 1st Whip and Kennelman and has had a very good first season with The Wilton. |
