Hedge Hunters 

XC Schooling over hedges of various sizes at Sutton Farm, Edmonsham (near Verwood)  BH21 8NQ

Groups of up to 6 will be allocated a start time between 10am and 1pm and will on the course for 1 hour.

Prize for the Best Dressed Team, You could be matching, smart, funny or fancy dress.  You choose!  Something to impress or amuse the starter!

Please use a "Team Name" for your group if you want to ride together, and add a "Note" if you require a time ie 10.30am, and we will try and accomodate your request.
 
1.30pm (Please Note new time) there will be escorted groups for under 16yrs (maximum 6 per group)

Group Start times will be published on the Here, and emailed to all entered by Thursday pm.

There will be First Aid Cover on-site, there is no additional fee for this.

Covid-19 restrictions will adhered to, including the requirement for all those who attend to give contact details.  
Numbers on site will be restricted.

STANDARD CODE OF CONDUCT FOR USE OF THIS COURSE:

• All Covid-19 restrictions will be adhered to, including no entries on the day.
• We reserve the right to refuse admission.
• Use car parking facilities provided
• All riders must be accompanied; Children under 16 must be escorted by a suitable adult.  Escorted Group available for those without a suitable adult to escort.
• Hard hats, body protectors and correct footwear are strongly recommended, and compulsory for under 16yrs
• Any spectator or person accompanying a rider must keep well clear of all jumps. Racing is forbidden
• Riders please be courteous to others using the course.
• Always give way to pedestrians on public footpaths
• Dogs MUST be on short leads, or best left at home
• All jumps on the course are optional and the rider can choose not to jump any or all of the fences. All fences to be taken only in the direction of the markers. It is each rider’s responsibility to make certain that they and their horses have the necessary level of ability and experience before attempting to jump. Riders should familiarise themselves beforehand with any jump of which they have any doubts as to their ability to complete it safely.
• Any accident must be reported immediately and a record made in writing before departure.
• Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct when using the course could result in being asked to leave the course. No refunds will be given.
• If this event has to be cancelled due to weather or Covid-19 refunds will be given minus a £3 admin fee. (Equo booking fee £1.50 is non refundable)

HEALTH AND SAFETY
1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or Wilton Hunt nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

3. All persons riding or supporting are not covered by The Wilton Hunt insurance and must have their own third party cover.
